Our Student Privacy Guarantee
PaperAndBooks is built with client-side architecture. Student names, class rosters, and custom text you enter into our worksheet generators are processed entirely in your browser's memory. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell student information.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Unlike conventional online educational platforms, PaperAndBooks requires no user registration, no student login accounts, and no school roster uploads to our servers.
- No student names or personal identifiers are sent to any remote database.
- No worksheet content, custom words, or sentences are recorded or analyzed.
- No photos, audio recordings, or biometric data are ever requested or stored.
2. Local Storage
If you customize your generator settings (such as default grade level, paper size, or line styles), these preferences are stored strictly in your local device's browser memory (via localStorage). They are never transmitted across the network and can be cleared at any time in your browser settings.
3. FERPA and COPPA Compliance
Because PaperAndBooks does not collect, retain, or share personally identifiable student data, teachers and schools can safely use PaperAndBooks tools in full compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
